NanoMetalene
NanoMetalene® surface technology is a submicron layer of molecularly bonded, commercially pure titanium that provides a microscopic roughened surface with nano-scale features,1 resulting in an improved osteogenic response.2 When applied to a PEEK core, NanoMetalene transforms PEEK’s hydrophobic surface into a hydrophilic titanium surface without compromising its favorable stiffness and imaging characteristics.
