We provide relevant, leading-edge educational opportunities throughout the year for our healthcare professionals and industry partners through the Orthofix Academy. Ranging from local single-day training programs to hospital-based observerships, we provide customized medical education opportunities to serve the needs of our customers and enhance the work they do every day. Courses are held in the Orthofix Academy in Verona, Italy, and at the Orthofix Academy in Lewisville, Texas, USA, as well as at locations around the globe.
Orthopedics Learning Curriculum
The Orthofix Orthopedics learning curriculum consists of three levels of courses led by a faculty composed of globally recognized orthopedic clinicians. These educational courses encompass diverse training approaches, such as scientific lectures, practical hands-on workshops in the wet and dry laboratory, didactic simulations with planning software, case-based discussion learning sessions and peer-to-peer debates. They provide attendees the opportunity to participate in tailored medical trainings in Foot & Ankle, Pediatrics, Limb Reconstruction and Trauma.

Company Overview and Systems Training (COAST)
The SeaSpine COAST program is designed to provide an introduction to our company, product portfolio, and culture. Each COAST visit begins with a company overview highlighting our vision and commitment to innovations in both technology and products, followed by hands-on system demonstrations and procedural training.
PIER
As part of our commitment to partner with surgeons, SeaSpine offers peer-to-peer education. Our PIER program connects surgeons across the globe for personalized training opportunities. These interactions can take place at SeaSpine’s state-of-the-art lab facility located in Carlsbad, California, or in the operating room of a surgeon experienced with SeaSpine’s product portfolio. There are also opportunities for a surgeon proctor to provide assistance in your first SeaSpine case.
