Bone Growth Therapies
Fracture Healing Solutions
Our fracture portfolio includes the PhysioStim™ and AccelStim™ devices. Both therapies provide a safe, non-invasive treatment designed to promote healing in fractures that have not healed or are experiencing delayed healing. These devices support the body’s natural healing process by delivering low-level pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) or low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) energy directly to the injury site.
Spinal Fusion Therapy
Our spine portfolio includes the SpinalStim™ and CervicalStim™ devices, which deliver low-level pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) energy to the fusion site. Orthofix Bone Growth Therapy devices are designed to provide 360-degree PEMF coverage around the fusion site, penetrating to the interbody space of the vertebrae. Due to the low magnetic permeability of PEMF, surgical hardware does not interfere with treatment delivery. Additionally, NASS coverage recommendations support the use of PEMF stimulation as an adjunct to spinal fusion surgery in high-risk patients.
