Orthofix Announces Expanded Roles for Two Executive Leaders
Orthofix has announced expanded roles for two of its seasoned executive leaders. Beau Standish, Ph.D., P.Eng., has been promoted to Chief Enabling Technologies Officer, and Jill Mason has been promoted to Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Both Beau and Jill will continue to report directly to President and CEO Massimo Calafiore as part of Orthofix’s Executive Leadership Team.
In order to align the organization’s innovation efforts in the development of enabling technologies, Orthofix is centralizing this function under Beau. In this expanded role, he will lead the strategy and oversight of enabling technologies software for Spinal Implants and Orthopedics, and the development of software and hardware for Bone Growth Therapies and 7D, with the goal of accelerating Orthofix’s development project timelines by leveraging its collective knowledge across the organization.
Jill will serve as Orthofix’s Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. In this expanded role, her duties will include managing the enterprise risk assessment and ongoing mitigation activities, focusing on business continuity management/planning, and assisting with legal department functions. Additionally, she will help with corporate governance activities, including serving as assistant secretary for certain Board and Board committee meetings.
“We greatly appreciate Beau and Jill for their willingness to lead in these new expanded roles,” said President and CEO Massimo Calafiore.
