7D Flash System

7D FLASH Navigation Platform

The 7D FLASH Navigation System is the first approved image-guidance system for spine and cranial procedures that leverages proprietary camera-based technology and advanced machine-vision algorithms. Designed to overcome long-standing challenges of legacy surgical navigation platforms, it unlocks the full potential of image-guided surgery.

Flash EVD

FLASH EVD Navigation Platform

FLASH EVD is a purpose-built navigation platform that assists physicians in placing cranial catheters at the bedside to their target. The system was designed for bedside procedures to provide operating room accuracy anywhere the patient needs intervention.

Clinical Research and Insights

The 7D FLASH Navigation team at Orthofix is committed to the development of evidence supporting improvements to scientific advancements and clinical knowledge in patient outcomes around the world.

Machine-Vision Technology

Machine-vision technology is similar to that of self-driving cars. It utilizes special cameras to analyze surface anatomy in just seconds using only visible light. This creates a full-color 3D image reconstruction consisting of hundreds of thousands of data points used for surgical navigation.

Machine-vision technology allows for the fastest image reconstruction for surgical navigation all through the flash of a light.

7D MRVision

7D MRVision™ utilizes MRIguidance’s BoneMRI™ software to generate a synthetic CT from an MRI scan that can be used for surgical planning and spinal navigation with the 7D FLASH™ Navigation System Spine Module. Traditional spine navigation requires a preoperative CT or intraoperative radiation for image acquisition and registration. 7D MRVision is the first and only solution that eliminates radiation from the entire navigation workflow.

*Based off a preoperative CT or MRI, no intraoperative radiation is required using the Spine Module, eliminating exposure to surgeons, staff, and patients. Intraoperative radiation is required for the Percutaneous Module. Please refer to the Instructions for Use and User Manual, if applicable, for indications and important safety information.
